New paper on memory storage in active networks

September 30, 2019

Lab member Dr. Vikrant Yadav and Dr. A. Pasha Tabatabai published a paper on memory storage in active networks made of actin polymers. The work was published in Advanced Functional Materials. This result opens possibilities of designing memory storage devices, similar to a hard drive, but made of biological materials. The study was lead by Prof. Michael Murrell. The paper also included collaborators from University of Chicago, Purdue University, and University College London.
